I thought about this journal today for the first time in a long time. It felt strange reading it back, all these memories of this life I used to live. I wrote this at quite a difficult time in my life, although I don't think I really realised it then.

Since I last updated (and if I'm honest the only reason I'm updating now is because it's the summer holidays and I'm bored) things have changed a lot. I've spent 7 months travelling the world, lived in Europe, got new friends and I've just finished my first year at the uni I always wanted to go to. I feel like the LJ chapter of my life is over (if the lack of updates hadn't informed you!) and, as I don't like the idea of this journal sitting here on the internet for years to come, I'll be deleting it in a couple of weeks.

So anyway, thank you to all my LJ friends; before I started writing here I never would have thought I could receive so much support/have so much fun by chatting to "strangers" online. I wish you all lots of love and luck. x

Oh my god... Gossip Girl! I love it more every week! Blair is simply awesome. She reminds me a lot of Brooke in OTH (which can only be a good thing). Her mom is such a bitch though! I find it hard to believe that anyone could be like that to their own child! Serena's sweet, but a bit too perfect. I'm hoping to see some 'bad girl Serena' soon; she didn't get a reputation for no reason. I like the focus on their friendship - this week was awesome because of that. Ut's nice to see a show that doesn't feel it needs 200 different dramas going on at once, not that I'm thinking of anything specific... *cough* Grey's *cough*.

It helps that Nate and Dan are hot as well...

I am SO excited about Atonement... I saw the new trailer today (ask if you want me to upload it... it's better than the first one I think). I've also just seen these gorgeous images made by hurtyesterday. Aren't they beautiful? I think Keira Knightley will be really good as Cecilia... I was dubious at first but the trailers are just so good. The one thing I am a bit worried about is the fact that three actresses are playing Briony and I can sense that that might annoy me. Also, without spoiling it for those who haven't read it, a lot of the beauty of the book is the fact that it IS a book, so it could go wrong. But I'm not going to be negative as everything I've seen looks very promising. The images are just beautiful - it looks like it's going to be a very visual film.

Book Seven Thoughts

WARNING: this post contains SPOILERS for HP7. Do not read if you don't want to be spoiled

Wow. I've literally just finished and it was brilliant. I was disappointed in the last one but that was fabulous. Better than I could have expected - from the minute it started talking about Dumbledore's past I was hooked. I have so so much to say and so I'm sure this post will be a series of disconnected thoughts as I'm not quite together yet, I just had to talk about it. I love Dumbledore far more than i ever did before; somehow knowing he was human and made mistakes makes him far more admirable.

I knew Snape was good. I loved him having a connection with Lily, and that now the fact that that chapter in OOTP was titled "Snape's Worst Memory" is so much better. It's not his worst memory because of his own humiliation, but because of his betrayal of his best friend and the eternal "parting of the ways". Him standing up for Harry when he thought Dumbledore simply wanted him as a weapon is more than I could have wished for, setting him firmly in the 'good' camp, as opposed to just being loyal to Dumbledore because Dumbledore protected him or was his best bet. You could see he felt revolted when he spoke about Dumbledore sending Harry to the slaughter.

I cried. Dobby's death was utterly heartbreaking, Percy's return to the family was brilliant, Hedwig's death was somehow very upsetting and Harry's final chat with Dumbledore was right. I couldn't imagine anything more fitting (particularly as there wasn't a real sense of conclusion last time). So much of this book was about Harry's doubts with who Dumbledore was as a person. That was why the chapter with the obituary initially drew me in, because, despite all we/Harry knew about Dumbledore, we really didn't know very much about him as a person. Dumbledore's final line was brilliant

Ron and Hermione grew so much as characters during this book. I must confess, I hated Ron when he ran away, really HATED him. But seeing his 'boggart' so to speak was heartbreaking and reminded me why I love him so much as a character. He has insecurities and he's not perfect at all. It was a reverse of what he saw in the Mirror of Erised during his first year - being overshadowed all his life and having to put up with it. I liked that he spoke Parseltongue in the end. I'm not quite sure why I do but I do.
Hermione was perfect. She was there for Harry throughout, despite everything and she was the one who Harry couldn't have done without. Her book learning and her willingness to sacrifice EVERYTHING are why Harry won. At the beginning I wept buckets when she said that her parents didn't know they have a daughter. Imagine that. Imagine giving up your PARENTS just so you can go off on a dangerous mission. So many times in that book I thought Ron or Hermione were going to die and it was completely nervewracking.

Harry's decision to put away the Elder Wand and let it die away was the reason I love him so much. It's not so much that he was willing to let himself die, or even that he was scared of death, it's that he was so utterly normal throughout. That is why Harry is Harry and I loved that it ended (obviously without epilogue) with Harry, Ron and Hermione all together in Dumbledore's office. The series might have been about defeating Voldemort but more importantly it was about love and friendship, and that was no clearer than between these three characters. Whilst the ending of the last movie was cheesy, I did think in the epilogue, particularly when Harry was talking to Albus (what a name btw! Kid drew the short straw there!), that the film had somehow got it right. That normalacy and that family was what Harry was fighting for all along and despite what I might have thought before, I am glad he got his happy ending.

I'm also glad that Neville killed Nagini. That was just brilliant. FINALLY he gets his heroic moment. Even in OOTP he was a bit of a comedy figure and the way he did it was just perfect.

The deaths were heartbreaking. Each one. I never thought it would be Fred to die - I just really couldn't see her killing one twin and not the other. Even now it doesn't seem quite right. I would have liked some information about George in the epilogue - she's never really bothered distinguishing them as characters (have they ever actually appeared separately?) and so it would have been nice to see where he'd ended up once she tore them apart. Tonks and Lupin felt unnecessary to me. They'd got their happy ending and I didn't see that they needed to get rid of it - it just felt like cranking up the 'inner circle body count'. It just wasn't needed and I really am disappointed that Harry didn't gain custody of Teddy, as his godfather. But otherwise it was perfect.

Woah, that was a long boring post... sorry, all, just needed to get it out. So, what did you like? What didn't you like? And now I'm suddenly very emotional - I'm really going to miss these guys!

I am fuming. I am spoiler free and trying to remain spoiler free so just don't talk about the book!

I was seven when the first book came out, and I remember getting it from the library that year, reading it and loving it. I've always loved books - my mum read to me and my sisters every night until I was about 11 and we all read the first Harry Potter together. Since then I've got every book on the day it's come out, and every time I've been a bit older and there's been more media hype etc. It's been a big deal - I remember where I've been every time I read it. I remember how I cried the day the third one was released because I hadn't finished it and so my mum let me miss my swimming lesson to do so and how I was at school when I got the fifth one and had to sit through double Biology with it right in front of me.

Now it's time for the last one and I'm seventeen. And the end of Harry Potter is somehow not just the end of Harry Potter, it's the end of my childhood - me and my friends are the original 'Harry Potter kids', British and the right age so somehow it's appropriate that it's finishing the year we turn 18. I've grown up with Harry Potter and although I'm excited about the final book, I'm also strangely sad. Never again will I talk about what I think is going to happen with my friends, or have a 'quiz' to see who knows the most about Harry Potter. This is the very last time I'll feel excited in the run up to a book.

So I haven't just waited two years for this, I've waited ten years. Ten years, and I've only lived seventeen! And I know how I want this to end. I want to go out, at midnight with my mum and my sisters, buy our copies of the book, return home and curl up on the sofa reading it, in the same place I read the last one. I don't want to know what happens in the book until I have it in my hand. I want to read it and say goodbye to these characters that have been a big part of my childhood at my own pace. Now, I don't expect everyone to get it - I realise it's silly to get so worked up about a work of fiction, but I do expect them to respect it and don't go spoiling it for some sick pleasure. It's a bit weird to get excited about upsetting people by the way, have you thought of therapy? Anyway, we have waited so long for this - don't spoil it out of spite.

The End's Not Near, It's Here Picspam

Obviously, finale spoilers.

So, The O.C is over. Finished. The show I've watched every week for three years is now no more. It feels weird. And even though there's been a lot I haven't liked over the years, I did love it and the characters. I suppose doing this makes it final; this is the last time I'll ever give my opinions on an O.C episode.

Right, I'll stop rambling and get on with the picspam!

Okay, well there was some controversy about this but having seen the episode I definitely think it was a good idea. I've always liked that The O.C is okay with doing breaks, and not made us feel like we have to have seen everything in the character's lives and this is no exception. Having this directly after the earthquake would have made it very hard to get this sort of moving-on end as everything would still have been chaos.

And we open with one of my favourite things: a Cohen kitchen scene! Okay, it's not actually the Cohen kitchen as that has disappeared forever but it's almost there!

Hehe! "I'll smear it for ya"

Oh. Julie's pregnant. And marrying Bullit. Well, I knew from this point on that that marriage wasn't going to happen!

Summer's voice in this scene is hilarious! I think you know what I want to watch! Briefcase or no Briefcase! Is that like Deal or no Deal? Because I would totally screw Noel Edmonds... just a little aside there. And I thought that the personal hygiene in 401 was bad... they just like Summer not washing!

Sad music. I'm sad. I loved the Cohen house!

And now I'm more sad because this is the last time I'm ever going to watch this.

For the last Ryan/Sandy scene this sucked. It was ok, but there was no deep Sandy meaning there. That was seriously lacking this episode and I feel like the Seth/Sandy scene later could easily have been substituted for a Ryan/Sandy one... after all, we KNOW Sandy loves Seth but this show started out as Sandy reaching out to Ryan and I'd have liked to see a little more of them together in this episode.

Haha! I love Slob Sethummer!

Oh, how things have changed... these days Ryan is the one inventing the plans!

And that was funny. Well done O.C, Taylor is funny. We understand, we get it. Now can we PLEASE have a little more out of her? PLEASE? She is a main character and main characters need to be more than just funny.

Oh dear. And Ryan with a moustache? :D

Love for the Bullits.

And LOVE for these peeps! Utter love! And we get Seth/Ryan time "I'm not actually a convict".

Hmmm... Summer sounds about as interested in Ryan/Taylor drama as I am. And total Adam-Rachel reference here. I love that The Valley is a part of the show until the end! And the reference to the six seasons as well... a little bitter?!

Baby Pancakeses! Or is that Pancaki?! Whatever, there are lots of them and they are CUTE!

"I'm a bad crack mother"! Line of the episode!

The headset is very Taylor Townsend! And I love her sorting Summer out.

As for the Ryan/Taylor thing, I don't care. Let's not get me wrong here: I'm not against them as a couple. I like Ryan and I like Taylor. What the O.C has failed to do is sell me Taylor as a main character. She's a great comedy piece... but there's no more to her. Seth has great comedy moments, as does Summer, but they're both very human as well. They've seemed to focus too much on trying to make her funny and not enough on trying to make her a proper character; even her sad scenes have had funny undertones. And it is just too soon and inappropriate for them trying to make us buy Ryan and Taylor as meant-to-be. It was too soon. This has nothing to do with Marissa (although R/T as meant-to-be do slightly cheapen the first three seasons), it's to do with relationships in general. 9 episodes isn't enough for me to want "happily ever after" and I was pleased when I thought that Taylor was just Ryan moving on with the possibility of more, not the new love of Ryan's life. Anyway, sorry, now I'll move on.

Is it just me who breathed a HUGE sigh of relief at the "Of course he knows". And there is Julie's character development. Because in Season 1, there would have been no "of course" about it. And Julie/Kaitlin interaction is LOVE. They are just fabulous together.

I like this. I like it a lot. The idea of Sandy and Kirsten finally making it out and back to Berkeley makes a lot of sense to me. And they'll be near to Ryan! I must admit, I wish Julie Cooper-Nichol-Cooper-Roberts-Bullit-Atwood was moving with them so that it could all continue, but Berkeley isn't too far right?

A BABY! Sophie Rose Cohen to be precise. I love it! And the Nana would love it! Is the Nana still alive? They mentioned her in 321 or 22 but does the idea of them naming Sophie after her mean she's dead now?

"Call your sister a squashed meatball." I would have liked someone to correct him to "our sister" but never mind.

Kaitlin rocks. I just love them. Losing Marissa has bought them so much closer and I love the way they put each other first now.

Sandy Cohen wisdom, I love it! But like I said, I feel like this could have easily been replaced for some Ryan/Sandy time.

Oh, and we've got the tears.

And we've got them again! I love it! It's perfect; just enough but not too much. I like Summer and Julie talking about Marissa because really, they were the ones who were closest to her. Kaitlin may have been her sister but she barely knew her and even Ryan was only in her life for two years. It brings back memories of 403 and we can't go on like this anymore, can we?", which was THE best episode, and possibly the best scene of the season.

Haha! These two men did a great job... hilarious parts! And I love how sheepish everyone looks, along with the line of Bullits!

"I'll sew those back on for you! And she'll probably do it in super quick time too... she is Taylor Townsend after all!

I like this scene an awful lot. The way that they both know what has to happen but don't want to say it. And Summer's hair is gorgeous. This is lovely of Seth... this is what love is, putting her needs in front of his own like this. Remember everything they've been through to be to college together... but he's still okay to back down and realise that actually, it's best for it not to happen! I also really like that The O.C haven't backed down with Summer's animal rights. At first I assumed that when she 'got over' Marissa's death it would all fizzle out and I'm really glad that hasn't happened and they've allowed it to be something proper that she's actually passionate about. It really shows how she's grown as a character... think back to season 1 "eww Chino"!

Wow, that guy is one great wedding planner. But it's a waste of time as...

Frank is on a mission!

Seriously though, who does that? It's one of my biggest fears; my phone going off at SUCH an inappropriate time! I mean, if it hadn't been okay to ruin the wedding, that would have really sucked!

Haha, technology geek Taylor would think this is romantic! Personally, I do like the twist on the cliche!

I knew it! The music was awesome here, perfect choice. What am I going to do without my O.C music?! I mean, Grey's and OTH both have awesome stuff but nowhere else uses music in exactly the same way. The O.C makes the bouncy music very much a part of the show whereas the other two are better with the slow stuff.

This is just awful. That's got to be the worst thing ever and the Bullit deals very well. People really should decide before their wedding day!

Another Kirsten/Julie scene. Need I mention that I love them? They've done well with Julie here, really well actually. She needed to get out their on her own and it's a very nice continuation of her earlier conversation with Summer about all the things she didn't get to do.

I love it. You can't fight fate again. Because after all, that's what a lot of The O.C has been about, certain things just having to happen. Like I do agree with Josh that Ryan and Marissa were bound to end in tragedy. And this is another of those things. From the very beginning we've known that Newport is not where Sandy and Kirsten want to be, and so it's only right that they're breaking out now.

And these are really nice chaps! Selling their home! I'm sure they'll get an awesome price for it though!

Mummy and daughter, together to the end. They are Coopers and they'll figure it out. But I hope they realise that they're going to have to move out of Dr Roberts' house sometime soon!

Tears again! "You're my destiny Cohen". I really wish that hadn't been used in the promo as it was one of the best lines of the episode.

And although it's really sad, they'll be okay. It's really not goodbye. It's also really necessary. They need to live... I don't think you can just be together since high school and not know who you are on your own. They'd just end up resenting each other from stopping the other doing what they love. And look, they love each other. God, it's like the third time I've watched this, I'm pausing to take caps and I'm still weeping like a baby!

We've got really sad music here as well! Oh god and look at him standing all alone, some might even say "in a black coat"...

She did save him. But still, I needed something more, something else. Some reason to make me think that THEY were each other's destiny. Love the airline continuity by the way!

Last Cohen family hug. Crying again. This is what it's all about really. This is why I love the show. I love the couples and I love the families.

Just half a line more and this scene would have been wonderful. "As much as this house meant to you... it was my first home?", or words to that effect. Then insert Sandy's "nothing's ending, you'll always have a home with us" sort of thing. Would have been great.

Oh Jesus, the tears won't stop! Last Seth/Ryan time. We've got the humour: "I leave you funnier than when I found you", the fear of going out into the world and the underlying affection and sadness at having to leave. BFFs!!

Okay, from here on out I'm an emotional wreck. I can barely see the computer screen through the tears! The flashbacks serve to remind me of how far we've come, and everything I'm really really going to miss.

The pilot. Just look how different he is. Ryan of 101 is jumpy and on-edge and completely in awe of everything around him. How things change...

Seth/Ryan time! Where it all began. He always has totally had your back Seth.

I know a lot of people felt that there wasn't enough Marissa but I actually think that this was perfect. This whole episode is about the end of things and moving on to new things, hence the baby, hence the house etc. And as much as it (still) pains me to say it, Marissa is the past. There is no future there. There is no way Marissa and Ryan can have a happily-ever-after. SO this was perfect. A shot of her, on her own and Ryan leaving her behind, symbolising Ryan actually moving on. It would have been wrong not to have the flashback, as this shows what an important part Marissa was, and always will be of Ryan's life. But there was no need for any more. Likewise with the locket earlier. It shows she'll always be in everyone's thoughts, but life does move on.

The song is perfect. I love it. I'm still crying.

Ryan, at Berkeley. And ok. Unsure and nervous, but still ok. I'm glad Taylor isn't there.

Hmmm, I don't like this. From a Summer point of view I love it, and I get what they're going for in that Summer is still in Seth's thoughts. But I feel like they haven't yet given Seth his happy ending. All they needed was a shot of him turning away to a group of friends and laughing. Now it looks like he is having those years of misery he talked about. I realise that it's only a few seconds of his college career but it makes it seem like Seth is really just waiting for Summer to come back. Remember, he's a social outcast with a mumbling problem! I wanted The O.C to show that that was over for him, and he really would be okay on his own... so that they were both doing something that they needed to do.

Sandy will be an awesome teacher! And so near Ryan! My Cohens + 1 heart is happy!

Why are people acting like this is a surprise?! We've always known Kaitlin was clever... we saw it in the Alt!World episode and Dr Kim said it earlier. This for me is just her finally living up to her potential!

This, I LOVE. LOVE LOVE LOVE. It's perfect, it's Julie character growth, it's so what she needed. It's also a reminder of 325 again... with Coopers being proud for each other.

And the kid is cute. And I love the way we're not sure between Frank and Bullit (personally I'd like to think neither). She doesn't love Bullit and Frank is a scumbag -- there's a reason Ryan hated him so much.

And Kaitlin loves her brother! The Cooper family is three again!

Ryan's Seth's best man, of course!

God,she looks absolutely gorgeous. Stunning. I love it being in the same backyard and I love that Seth and Summer have stood the test of time. It being a few years on (4, 5 yes?) gets rid of all those 'just a high school romance' fears. Oh, but I agree that it sucks that Dr Roberts isn't there; I'm choosing to believe that he's dead (although this situation has obviously happened because the O.C. can't get the actor back). But whatever people might say now, he's not a crap dad and so the only thing that could keep him from his daughter's wedding is death.

Hehe, but they're still Seth and Summer!

Sandy and Kirsten are happy, and what a cutie for their daughter!

A knowing look. And I can be really okay with this actually. If they've stood the test of time and four years later there are still little looks and a spark and love and something that I didn't see, that's fine. It was just too quick earlier. Like I said, there's nothing wrong with them as a couple - it's just that I hadn't seen enough from Taylor (or from them as a couple) to buy them as happily ever after. I like that that's all it is though, a glance, so that people can choose to believe what they want.

So, I get the feeling I'm missing something big by not getting this? Is it an American thing? Or a Jewish one? Or am I, in fact, just ignorant?!

He made it! He's a architect! Perfect!

And that is just the perfect way to end. Ryan helping another kid. Because who knows where he'd be were it not for the Cohen's mitzvah? Brilliant. And the ending line of that song "Always forget how strange it is just to be alive at all is just perfect. Reminds me of one How strange it is to be anything at all which is a line from one of my favourite songs of all time, In The Aeroplane Over the Sea. (Matt Pond PA, not NMH). Despite everything they've been through in the O.C, they've got their loves and they've got their family, and that's a lot to be grateful for.

So yeah, overall, that was fabulous. It could have done with being a bit longer as everything felt a little rushed to me but they last 15 minutes or so were awesome. Yes, there are bits that I wish had been included, but there's nothing in there that I really detested and thought "why the hell did you include that?!". The controversial bits were dealt with very nicely.

Okay, that was waaay longer than I thought. Now I'm feeling v. sad and am going to go and hole myself up with Season 1!

Hey, can any of you help me? I made a lastfm account under the username magicalmia and I had loads of fun scrobbling for a couple of days. Then I decided I didn't want that username - I wanted my school one so I could use it at school. So I made a new thing and I deleted the old account from my player. But now whenever I try to scrobble it says "There is not enough content to play this station"! Every single thing! Do any of you know how to fix it?

I thought I'd do another thoughts-thing on the recent episodes. It's fun :D

One Tree Hill Episode 12

I LOVED this opening: Sometimes pain becomes such a huge part of your life that you just expect it to always be there. It wasn't a tingly-feeling Lucas VO but it is very true for Peyton. And it makes me hope that I could learn to love her again. If the writers let her be happy for a while that could very easily happen. I'm never going to love Lucas/Peyton because I loved Lucas/Brooke, but I'm surprisingly okay with it. Particularly because Brooke is ok, even when she isn't with someone whereas Peyton wasn't for season 2/3.

Again, love for the facial expressions. And hilarious Brooke comment: Why are you so happy? Did you do something slutty. I can't help it, I know Rachel's mean but I just love her!

I'm reserving judgement about Chase/Brooke. At first thoughts he seems a little boring but perhaps there's potential. And he is very pretty. Please don't make him too one-dimensional writers - I have a deep fear of you virginning him up and then, so as not to make him too cliche, make him have a deep dark secret.

Cringe and a half. Just no. Let's not do that, please. Chad, sort hair and face.

And in strong contrast to Chad's problems we have Nathan. So pretty. So, so, pretty. Oh, his little face. And did I mention that his hair is fucking gorgeous!

Love Dan/Karen but is doomed. Deb - let's move on already. Overused.

Check me out I'm a smart virgin!. Talking of virgins though, is it just me who finds it a little weird that there is such a thing as Clean Teens. Surely it's your own business? I just don't think that would happen in England but then (and this is just an outside observation so I might be completely wrong) there does seem to be a bit more of a need to be part of a certain group in America. I wonder why that is? Any thoughts?

Weird. Sorry but it is. I see what they were trying to do, but it didn't work. It would make Lucas very uncomfortable and there's no point pretending otherwise. Better would have been seeing Peyton chat to her mum about how happy she is.

Ooh, I love it. Nathan's a sweetie. The dress is quite nice, not my cup of tea but the scene was so sweeeet.

I would have liked to see a lot more of this scene. This is something OTH doesn't do quite as well as other things. Just big group fun hanging out scenes. The O.C are/were really good for that and it gives a nice sense of unity. But they never do it in a big group - occasionally the girls hang out and the one-to-one scenes are fabulous but we don't really get normal teenager time.

I love Julie/Kaitlin interaction. It's not angst-ridden like Marissa was and neither is it hateful. It's just ordinary mother-daughter but at the same time a little wacky (well it IS Julie and Kaitlin) and you're very much aware that they're all the other's got for family.

Summer's bedroom has changed. I only just noticed! The bed drapes are gone. I think I like it more. I've always loved her room. It's how I wish mine was. Mine's beautifully done up and obviously quite personal but at the same time you are aware that I've only just moved into the house. I like how she still has her childhood bits and bobs and so it's Summer-through-the-ages but it's still a stylish room.

Cohen family time! God I miss those morning kitchen scenes!

My eyes! The grammar, the grammar! Sweet but messed up... v. Kaitlin.

Funny but then again, I would have preferred Taylor stepping out from funny and talking about the break-up sadly and seriously with Summer or someone.

And we so nearly had it. Please don't get me wrong, I love Taylor but, just once I want to see serious not done in a funny way. JUST ONCE. Once I've seen that it's there I'll be fine not to see it again but otherwise I can't believe in her as a character as she never seems truly upset.

Hehe! Look at that! Love Bullit/Kaitlin interaction... she needs a dad. But, let's face it, Julie and Bullit aren't madly, passionately in love and probably aren't going to be so I'll be really mad if at the end the writers try to sell that to us. I might like her love for Jimmy overcoming all but maybe that wouldn't be so good with Marissa's death issues. Either do something like that, or have her making another Julie Cooper style marriage with a nice, sweet man but one who she doesn't love.

I mean, Kelly Rowan looks great and not older than that but that would have made her 21 when she got pregnant with Seth? And since her and Sandy were already married I assume they must have been married in college. So their mailtruck days didn't last very long at all!

Really nice motherly acting. Look at her worried face and that sharp intake of breath. God I love those two!

I love that tone of Summer's. Her making-up-on-the-spot one! "Groundhogs day... which comes out once a year"

Sad Kaitlin. It is really sad how she really doesn't have anything to do with her dad. After he was so involved with Marissa's life in the first season it seems unrealistic now that he wouldn't see Kaitlin more often, particularly after his other daughter has died. The O.C managed to get Tate back for the alt-world episode, why not now? And, tbh I think she has every reason to resent him. She didn't have a very stable childhood and apparently Marissa got all the attention (which is not hard to believe), then she gets shipped off to boarding school and hardly sees her family, then her sister dies and she STILL doesn't see her family. Okay, Julie was just as bad but at least she's trying to make up for it now and at least her treatment of Marissa and Kaitlin was the same. Jimmy was v. interested in Marissa and seems to have no interest at all in Kaitlin.

But Julie shouldn't do it for the sake of Kaitlin. They'll be okay on their own, as a team. Bullit would be a great step-dad but what wouldn't be great is if Kaitlin got really attached and then they split up because Julie had never loved Bullit in the first place.

Yay! I LOVE Che and I'm glad he's found his soulmate. The music here was fab, v. hilarious. All dreamy love song and then there's Che, with his otter mate.

Shock horror. I'm not sure how I feel about this. It's a bit unlikely and a bit too convenient but it could be really sweet. I love the idea of Ryan and Seth as big brothers.

Aaw and they're Sandy and Kirsten and he's immediately okay with it and they're great parents. Yeah, I like it after all!

And we'll have love, laughter, be happy ever after, me and my otter! And Newport Chuck of course. She's a pretty girlie as well :)

I love his stalking :D But what was the point in that one episode break? what has been resolved exactly that wasn't before?

"The best thing for my family". Oh that breaks my heart. Poor, poor Julie. Okay, she's done some awful things but she's always loved her girls and now she only has one it seems she's determined to make up for all the problems she had with Marissa.

I knew it was Frank but the proposal was a shock. I don't like him but that breaks my little heart again. Just the thought of anyone wanting to propose and not being loved back hurts. And the way he must feel so inadequate because he must see that it's because he doesn't have money like Bullit does. And okay, I might not like him but anyone can see that that's better and sweeter than Bullit who just went out and bought the most expensive ring.

Where was Sethummer this episode btw?!
